Little Lessons from the School of Inattention

Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Michael Bay, 2011)

The film feels very much like pornography without the sex scenes. What’s left are bad acting, bad directing, awful jokes, and immature innuendos. At least, Michael Bay’s consistent. There is nothing in this film that he hasn’t done before. He only magnifies the noise, the brainless spectacle, and the soul-ripping awfulness, making this film thrice more painful than when he took over the franchise and effectively replacing a generation’s lovely memories of those trademark plastic toys and morning cartoons with penis jokes and misplaced machismo.
